Influential actor suspected to be involved in Bangladeshi actress Raima Islam Shimu murder case
Raima Islam Shimu, a popular Bangladeshi actress who went missing on January 16 morning, was discovered dead on January 17 on the outskirts of Dhaka. Raima's body was discovered in a sack with several injuries. According to preliminary investigations by local police, she was possibly murdered somewhere and her body was placed along a bridge in Keraniganj. After being probed for hours, Raima Islam Shimu's husband, Shakhawat Ali Nobel, finally acknowledged his role in his wife's murder on January 18.
Not only Shimu's spouse Nobel, but also one of his buddies, Abdullah Farhad, was apprehended for interrogation. Raima Islam Shimu's body, which had many damage marks, was taken to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital for an autopsy on Tuesday.

Shimu was last seen with her husband and child on Sunday morning. Her family later filed a missing diary report, suspecting that something was wrong.
